Tuition for child care is paid on a monthly basis, and it is only prorated if the child has been enrolled for less than 15 days on any month. Unless parents (FHCRC employees) make alternative payment arrangements with the Director, tuition fees are deducted from the FHCRC employee's paycheck to pay for the following month's tuition.
Tuition is based on the child's birthday, regardless of which classroom the child is enrolled. When a child has a birthday, the monthly tuition rate will change. If this date falls in the first 15 days of the month, the rate is changed at the beginning of the month; if it falls within the last half of the month, the rate does not change until the next month.
Parents who do not receive a paycheck from FHCRC will receive an invoice for child care tuition. Fees are due on the last day of every month for the coming month. If payment for tuition is no received by 5:00 PM on the fifth day of the month (or the first business day), a late fee of $10.00 will be assessed. If the tuition is not paid by 5:00 PM on the tenth day, an additional $15.00 will be added for a total late fee of $25.00. Hutch Kids Child Care reserves the right to deny care if tuition has not been paid by the10th day.
Monthly tuition rates are set each year by the HKCC Board of Directors and approved by the Hutchinson Center. Changes in rate structure (sliding scale), age groups, etc are decisions of the HKCC Board of Directors.
A fee of $25.00 will be charged for checks returned by the bank for insufficient funds or closure of account. This fee will be assessed regardless if the child is still present at the center or not.
