Big Expedition for Cancer Research
It's not hard to see the parallels between climbing unscaled mountain peaks and researching cancer. In 2008 the Hutchinson Center sponsored the Big Expedition for Cancer Research, an attempt by four mountaineers to scale unclimbed Peak 8290 in the Fairweather Range of Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park. Read about the mountaineers and their climb in the name of cancer research.
