Dan and Nancy Evans to receive 2001 Thomas achievement medal

Former Gov. Dan Evans and his wife Nancy will be the recipients of the 2001 E. Donnall Thomas Medal of Achievement, to be presented at the NorthWest Industry Partnership banquet on Saturday, June 16.

The Evanses embody the attributes of Thomas, the Center's 1990 Nobel Prize-winner, says Kit Herrod, director of corporate development for the Hutch.

"Through their commitment, vision and leadership, they have made significant contributions to our community and state," she said.
