Human-subjects training session coming Friday, March 2, in Pelton

Brief

February 15, 2001

If you have not completed web-based or in-person training on human subjects, you're invited to a training session from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Pelton Auditorium.

Deborah Dickstein, Institutional Review manager, will speak.

The session is in response to an NIH rule that key personnel in new and continuing grant applications complete human-subjects training. Center policy extends this requirement to research funded from other sources.

RSVPs to Dickstein are appreciated, to ddickste@fhcrc.org or Ext. 1807. Feel free to bring a lunch to eat during the session.

Institutional Review also offers web-based training, accessed via http://www.fhcrc.org/admin/iro/iro_home.htm (click "Human Subjects Training"). Future in-person sessions will be offered about every two months.

For those who cannot attend the March 2 session and still need the training, another session will be offered Friday, April 6, same time and place.
