Employee center gets new manager

Melinda Nelsen-Loney recently was named manager of the Employee Service Center. She had been an applications analyst for Software and Development at the Hutch and was on assignment in the ESC.
Nelsen-Loney said she plans to improve processes and customer-service delivery by developing partnerships with Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology.
She seeks to meet the service needs of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and stabilize services for Hutch staff, including timeliness and accuracy of reporting employee information. She replaced Edna Ramos, who left the Center Jan. 2.
Nelsen-Loney worked as a human resource information systems analyst for Legacy Health System in Portland for nine years. She holds a bachelor's degree in human-resource management from Portland State University.
