Blood drive draws bumper crop; next one set for Friday, Aug. 31

The Puget Sound Blood Center registered a more-than-expected cadre of 62 donors and collected 53 units of blood during the June 8 drive at the Day Campus. The donated blood components will serve up to 159 patients.

Typically, the Day Campus blood drive draws 40 to 45 donors. The next Day Campus blood drive is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 31.
