Seattle's biggest, longest running and most successful annual Haunted House returns this month for its 36th year, with proceeds to benefit the Hutch.
The Fright Gallery house at 6333 First Ave. S. is operating every night through Halloween but Monday and Tuesday nights.
Hours are 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays (admission $10) and 7-10 p.m. weekdays and Sundays (admission $7).
People of all ages are encouraged to attend. Children under 5 should be accompanied by an adult.
Extensive security precautions are planned as have been the standard procedure since 1990.
Since its inception in 1965, the Fright Gallery has contributed $1.5 million to area charities, including the Hutch, Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center and the Variety Club Sunshine Coach Program.
This year's sponsors are KISS 106.1 FM, Freddie's Club Casino in Renton, Pepsi-Cola, Albertsons and Grand Prix Bowling Scholarship Fund.
