As a major employer in King County, the Hutch is committed to providing a commute trip reduction program that will meet the needs of faculty and staff and achieve the goals of the state Commute Trip Reduction law.
The goals of the law are to decrease traffic congestion, improve air quality and decrease consumption of oil. Everyone can help to reach these goals by reducing the number and distance of drive-alone commute trips.
The survey results are important to the Center because they are used to determine the pricing for the Hutch Pass and measure progress to reduce traffic congestion in the region. The Center must have a 70-percent return rate on the survey, or the difference is counted as single-occupant commuters. Your answers also will help the Center better understand your transportation needs and enhance the effectiveness of its Commute Trip Reduction program.
