Hutch night at the SuperSonics bounces in on Friday, March 22; sales to help Alliance patients

Need a night out with your family, friends and co-workers? Want to help support patients and family members of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance? Then mark your calendars for Friday, March 22.

The Hutch's Volunteer Services Program has teamed with the Seattle SuperSonics as the Community Partner of the Game when the Sonics take on the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. in the Key Arena.

For each $15 or $20 ticket purchased through this program, the Sonics will donate $7 that will be used to purchase tickets next season for Alliance patients and families to use. Last year more than $1,300 was raised, and the Volunteer Program purchased a block of seats for 16 games. This year, Volunteer Services hopes to double that amount.

As an added incentive, the March 22 game is also 2001 Slam Dunk Champion Desmond Mason Bobblehead Night. The first 10,000 fans into Key Arena receive this great collector's item.

Order forms are available in the staff lounges of the Alliance clinic, the Double Helix and throughout the Hutch campus. Or place an order by calling Nathan Betts in the Sonics office at 206-272-2608.

Tickets may be purchased via check or credit card. Inventory is limited, and seating is subject to availability. Orders must be received by Monday, March 18. For more information, call Volunteer Services at 206-288-1072.
