What's safe, fast and flexible? Direct deposit! Find out more!

Brief
Take time out this month - the official "Celebrate Direct Deposit Month" -
to find out about direct deposit, urges Human Resources and the American Payroll
Association.
Direct deposit is the way to have your monthly paycheck automatically deposited
into your checking and/or savings account. Eight-eight percent of faculty and
staff use it, above the national average of 71 percent.
The service has several benefits:
- It's safe. It goes directly into your account, even when you're out of town,
with no chance of misplacing your check. Problems with direct deposit are
rare and easy to solve if they occur.
- It's fast. The deposit gets to your account more quickly than it takes you
to walk to the bank.
- It's flexible. You can direct deposit all or part of your pay; select up
to three banking institutions to direct your deposit, and change the deposit
amount as the need arises.
If you don't use direct deposit, Human Resources encourages you to sign up.
For information, call Human Resources/Employee Services at 206-667-4700, e-mail
escmail@fhcrc.org or visit Human Resources
on the first floor of the Yale Building and pick up an application.
Forms to sign up for direct deposit are due Wednesday, May 15, to take effect
with the May 31st payroll.
