Members of the Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild present a check for $2.9 million to the center's Dr. Eric Sievers on April 11, representing net proceeds from the 2001 Hutch Holiday Gala held Dec. 1 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers. The Gala continues to be the single largest fund-raising event benefiting Fred Hutchinson. In its 27th year, the Arnold Guild has contributed more than $18 million to research and patient/family programs at the center. Photo by Romy Brock
