Foreign nationals who move must notify INS with form

Brief
September 19, 2002

Are you a foreign national who has moved recently? The Immigration and Naturalization Service requires you to notify the INS within 10 days of such a change.

Also, foreign nationals who have moved at any time since initially entering the United States should file a notification form immediately. Failure to give such notice is punishable by $200, 30 days in jail, deportation and a bar to re-entry.

Download an address-change form at: www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/ar-11.xml. Info: Amy Garrett, 206-667-4460, agarrett@fhcrc.org.
