Recent thefts at Day Campus prompt security precautions

Recent thefts of laptop computers, palm pilots, a digital camera and loose change at the Day Campus, primarily in the Yale Building, have prompted Security to urge faculty and staff to take these precautions:

• Keep small valuables with you at all times or secured in a locked drawer or cabinet.
• Lock in a secure area all small electronic items when you leave your work area at night.
• If you notice suspicious persons near your office area, notify Security at 206-667-6000.
