Renewal of the popular HutchPass is under way this month, and it's as easy as a few clicks of a computer mouse.
Just visit the transportation link on the center Web site and click on "Hutch Pass." There, http://www.fhcrc.org/admin/facilities/transportation/hpass.htm, you'll find an online agreement form for center and Alliance faculty and staff. Fill out the requested information, hit "send" and look for your new pass at your mail stop.
Those who prefer to send in a form to Transportation can print one from the site and send it to J1-500. There are separate forms for center and Alliance faculty and staff, so make sure you're sending the appropriate form.
Don't have access to a computer? Obtain a renewal form at the Thomas Reception desk, the Met East second floor reception desk or the Transportation Office on the first floor of Yale, J1-500.
A HutchPass is available to center and Alliance faculty and staff who are salaried, ongoing and regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week, as well as graduate students and postdoctoral associates, including research associates, postdoctoral fellows and senior fellows. Exceptions for eligibility can be processed through your division administrator.
The HutchPass is a fully subsidized, annual bus pass, valid for service on any Metro, Community Transit, Kitsap Transit, Pierce Transit, or Sound Transit route. Employees who ride the ferry system as part of their regular commute can receive an annual HutchPass in addition to a monthly ferry pass.
If transit isn't convenient, consider the comfort, convenience and savings of vanpooling. HutchPass covers the monthly Metro or Community Transit vanpool fare, and Hutch vanpools park free at the center.
