For U.S., Canada travel, US Airways lowers same-day standby fee to $25

US Airways lowered on Jan. 10 its same-day standby fee to $25 from $100 for domestic and U.S-Canada travel for travelers on nonrefundable fares. The $100 same-day standby fee continues on Europe and Caribbean service.

Travelers can purchase standby coupons at any airport or city ticket office. Travelers who have purchased $100 standby coupons may exchange them for four $25 standby coupons.
