Brief
January 16, 2003

Want information about the pilot research projects and summer-internship opportunities available as a result of Fred Hutchinson's new research partnership with New Mexico State University? Find it at a new Internet site at http://www.fhcrc.org/science/bmrcp/.

The goal of the partnership is to enhance opportunities for Hispanic, Native American and other minority faculty and students to become trained in cancer research.

The collaboration results from a five-year, $2.5 million planning grant awarded last June by the National Cancer Institute. Questions? Call Dr. Beti Thompson at 206-667-4673, Dr. Gloria Coronado at 206-667-4216 or Anne Vedella at 206-667-6951.
