Depending on the airline, there are four ways to obtain a security-checkpoint boarding pass: an airline's ticket counter, at curbside check-in, an airline self-service kiosk and an airline's Internet site.
Remember, printed and electronic tickets and travel-agency or airline itineraries are not an acceptable substitute for boarding passes.
Passengers at checkpoints must show a government-issued photo I.D. such as valid drivers license, before they pass through metal detectors. You do not need to show your I.D. when entering the checkpoint line, but have it available for review when you reach the security checkpoint.
