Northwestern University's Zoloth kicks off research-ethics series

The first Fred Hutchinson Research Ethics Series lecture will feature Dr. Laurie Zoloth, professor of ethics, humanities and religion at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Zoloth will speak on "Conflicts of Interest: Rules and Desire in Research." Author of Health Care and the Ethics of Encounter: A Jewish Conversation on Social Justice, she is also the past president of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. With the approval of your training grant's principal investigator, this lecture will count toward NIH training grant requirements for research-ethics education. Tuesday, July 22, Pelton, 3-4 p.m.
