Molecular epidemiology discussion group meets each month

Interested in molecular epidemiology? An informal discussion group focused on the topic meets monthly to review methodological and applied literature and to discuss participants’ research. The interdisciplinary group, coordinated by Dr. Ellen Goode, postdoc in the Public Health Sciences Division, is open to all faculty and staff from any scientific division and meets the first Wednesday of each month from 4 to 5 p.m. in Met East, Room 924.

• July 2: Haplotypes: Score tests for haplotype association
• Aug. 13 (Room 927A): Haplotypes: Hplus and relative efficiency of ambigous vs. unambiguous haplotypes in association analysis
• Sept. 3: Haplotypes: Haplotype structure of the human genome
• Oct. 3: Haplotypes: Commonalities, distinctions and practicalities of association methods using inferred haplotypes
