Dr. Lee Hartwell, center president and director, is looking for volunteers to help him in efforts to foster collaboration with leading researchers in Pacific Rim countries.
Hartwell has organized a group of Fred Hutchinson faculty and staff, the Pacific Rim International Team, to build relationships with cancer-research and biotech institutions in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Those with experience with the languages or cultures of these countries are needed to assist the team and host visiting scientists. Volunteers would be called upon as needed. The time commitment would be no more than a few hours.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Theresa Naujack at 206-667-4071 or tnaujack@fhcrc.org.
