Participants needed for ergonomic study at Fred Hutchinson

Brief
October 2, 2003

The Safety and Health Assessment & Research for Prevention (SHARP) Program needs your help to complete the three-year ergonomics study which began in October 2002.

All kinds of people are needed for this study. We want people with no symptoms and people with symptoms, both are very important to our research!

Who are we?

The SHARP Program is a program at the Department of Labor and Industries. We do research in different industries trying to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses and promote healthy work environments. Our study is voluntary, confidential and conducted in private at your work location. Visit us on the Web at: http://www.lni.wa.gov/sharp/.

If you are interested in participating in the last year of our groundbreaking research, or have any questions, please contact Caroline Smith at 1-888-667-4277, 360-902-4528, or e-mail, smcb235@LNI.wa.gov.

This study is funded in part by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), grant number 5U01 OH07316.
