Hutch Award winner Salmon honored

Bonnie Towne, chair of the center's foundation board, honored 2003 Hutch Award winner Tim Salmon of the Anaheim Angels in front of 40,000 fans at a Mariners game last month. Joining them on the field was former patient Sara Schuckhart, who visited with the star outfielder while she was undergoing a transplant in January. The Hutch Award Luncheon honoring Salmon earlier this year raised $225,000 for center research. The 2004 Hutch Award winner will be announced in January 2004. Photo by Ben Van Houten
