2003 Retirement Fair

The 2003 Retirement Fair will begin on Monday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Weintraub Great Hall. Representatives from the retirement plan's investment companies as well as the Social Security Administration, Medicare and Working Solutions, among others, will be on hand to answer questions about planning for retirement. A variety of workshops on retirement planning as well as health insurance options available at retirement are also scheduled for the rest of the week. Eldercare workshop series offered

Bring your lunch and join Liz Taylor, noted aging expert and Seattle Times "Growing Older" columnist, as she presents a workshop series that provides a comprehensive, step-by-step process to care for aging parents (and plan for your own aging!) with less stress and more control. The workshop series will be held on Thursdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Oct. 16, 23 and 30, in the Yale Building. The cost is $60 per employee, which includes a 45-page workbook.
