Meet the center's neighbors at the South Lake Union Open House and Neighborhood Celebration from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Consolidated Works, 500 Boren Ave. N.

The free event will include food and drink from local restaurants and exhibit booths from neighborhood businesses and organizations. Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels and members of the city council will kickoff the open house with welcoming presentations.
