Save the date for the PHS building open house, April 16-17

Tour the latest and largest addition to Fred Hutchinson's South Lake Union campus—the new Public Health Sciences building. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, center and Alliance employees can attend an open house to see the building's rooftop, panoramic views of Lake Union and impressive atrium.

Faculty and staff can share the new PHS building experience with friends and family on Saturday, April 17 at a public open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both events feature tours of the Prevention Center, including the Human Nutrition Lab and the Exercise Research Center (Friday hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.); and informational displays about the center's cancer-prevention and early detection research. Find out the nutrients in your favorite meal, test your lung capacity and grip strength, calculate your body-mass index, learn how to do a breast self-exam and more.
