University Village shoppers paint the town for center research

Brief

When Mary Anne Stusser decided to redesign her "Paint the Town" store in University Village, she came up with a unique approach. She invited her customers to purchase a tile for $5 and paint it. Stusser, the daughter of former Board member Pat Stusser, sold all 113 tiles and donated the proceeds to Fred Hutchinson for center research. Installation of the tiles on the exterior of the store is underway.
