Summer craft fair raises more than $800 for Hutch School

Brief

Despite a smaller vendor turnout than expected, lots of shoppers helped the annual summer craft fair generate $814 for the Hutch School. The figure, which comes from 10 percent of vendor proceeds plus 100 percent of raffle sales, exceeds the donation from the previous two fairs. Twenty shoppers were winners of the raffle.

With the Holiday Craft Fair looming aroung the not-too-distant corner (Friday, Dec. 2), the craft-fair committee is looking for volunteers.
