Fred Hutchinson commemorates HIV Vaccine Awareness Day with an encore presentation for faculty and staff of "A Closer Walk" — a powerful documentary that depicts humankind's confrontation with the global AIDS pandemic — on Tuesday, May 18. The 90-minute film, featured on Oprah Winfrey's World AIDS Day show, is narrated by Will Smith and Glenn Close. Following the film, HVTN staff will conduct a question and answer session and share information about the center's preventive HIV vaccine research and clinical trials. Attend all or a portion of the presentation.
