Farewell party for Terry Brown on Nov. 29

The Materiel Management Department will hold a farewell party for longtime Mail Services Manager Terry Brown on Nov. 29, 2-4 p.m. in the Sze Conference Room. Refreshments will be served.

Brown joined the center in 1991 and built Mail Services into one of the best-rated support departments at Fred Hutchinson. He and his wife will be moving to Florida later this year.

"Terry is one of the special individuals who touches just about everyone here at the center, and he will be greatly missed," said Mark Burch, materiel manager. "With his easy-going style and dedication to customer service, Terry has impressed the employees of this organization year after year. The last internal customer-satisfaction survey had Mail Services listed as one of if not the best rated support department here and I attribute that to Terry's leadership and team-building skills."
