Why I chose to commute this way: "I chose this approach for three reasons — I am cheap, like to let go of stress and need the exercise. I find driving to be a hassle and use my commute time for working quietly and productively while riding in, reading while riding home and get four miles of hard walking for exercise along the way. The walks allow me to sort out the day ahead and let go of the day behind."
