Athena Partners sponsors desserts, wristbands that support research

Athena Partners, the nonprofit company whose products support women's cancer research, has launched two new initiatives in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month that will benefit Fred Hutchinson.

The company has teamed up with several Seattle-area chefs to offer Athena Desserts for a Cure. Order a specially created pink dessert at one of 12 restaurants and all the profits will be donated to Seattle-area research organizations. The special desserts at Kaspar's Restaurant and Wine Bar and Macrina Bakery and Caf? will benefit Fred Hutchinson research. It's a delicious way to make a difference!

Athena is also selling pink wrist bands at all of the center's coffee stands for $1. All proceeds go to women's cancer research.
