Apply early for visa stamps

Brief

The U.S. Department of State will be pulling staff from most of its embassies and consular offices around the world to staff up the new embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. This means waiting times for visa stamps will substantially back up (as much as one to two hours). If you need visa stamps, make appointments as far in advance as possible.
