Come to the annual Hutchinson Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, in the courtyard and turnaround between the Arnold and Thomas buildings. The winner of the 2005 Wyckoff Award will be announced at noon.
The afternoon features celebrity grillers cooking up a menu that includes hamburgers, bratwurst, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, corn on the cob, old-fashioned baked beans (vegetarian), watermelon wedges, potato chips and strawberry shortcake. The Bellingham-based band Juba Marimba will be back by popular demand to provide entertainment.
