Former transplant patients come back to the Center for the Legacy for Life reunion

More than 300 former Hutchinson Center transplant patients plus family members, from across the nation and Europe, returned to the Center last weekend in celebration of their "Legacy for Life." The reunion, which honors bone marrow or stem-cell transplant survivors, occurs at the Center every five years. Highlights of the reunion weekend included the opportunity for a group photo at Benaroya Hall with pioneering transplant physician Dr. Don Thomas and his wife and research partner, Dottie (pictured second row, center).
