Redesigned Web site launches end of June

Easier navigation, enhanced content, new look among updated features

As the influence of the Internet has grown, so has the importance of an organization's Web site. Millions of people now turn to the Internet as one of their primary information sources. In this environment, Web sites are among the most prominent public faces of an organization.

To keep pace with the evolving online world, the Internet Services Department will launch the Center's redesigned Web site at the end of June. The new site will include improved navigation and updated design to fit with the Center's new branding strategy.

"Through features like more consistent navigation behavior throughout the site and information and graphics geared for a lay audience, the new Web site will provide a significantly improved user experience for everyone," said Ann Marie Clark, director of Library and Internet Services. "Center faculty and staff will find easier access to the intranet pages and 'check e-mail' function and more prominent search capability. Potential patients, donors and other visitors will find much more scientific content written in lay terms and research information on specific diseases."
