Members of an Olympia-area women's guild charged with "raising funds while having fun" toured the center this week and participated in a Science Education Partnership (SEP) activity. Scissors representing restriction enzymes were used to cut paper DNA into fragments to solve a murder mystery.
Created in 1995, the Olympia Guild has raised more than $100,000 for Fred Hutchinson.
