Free public science forum series begins March 22 in Pelton

Investigators will share their knowledge in a series of three free forums that are open to the public. The first forum, "Prostate Cancer Prevention," will be held 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, in Pelton Auditorium and feature Drs. Janet Stanford, Alan Kristal and Pete Nelson. KIRO-TV anchor and reporter Essex Porter will moderate the discussion on prostate-cancer prevention research and screening tools, including the PSA test.

Future forums are "Coping and Comforting," 12:30 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, at Bellevue's Meydenbauer Center and "Cancer and Culture," 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, at Seattle's Town Hall. Each forum will feature a moderator and scientist panel discussions, followed by a period for questions and answers.
