Center ombudsperson Dr. Nancy Haigwood (at podium) facilitated a discussion on mentorship April 27 in Pelton Auditorium. Panel participants, from left to right, included Drs. Barb Trask, Effie Petersdorf and Alan Kristal.

Attendees heard diverse perspectives on mentorship from seasoned professionals and received credit from the Research-Ethics Education Program. Center-based postdoctoral researchers, clinical fellows and graduate students are required to complete six approved ethics-education events and are encouraged to attend two such events per year.
