Students Luis Gomez and Jesse Moran (left and center) learn the art of micro-pipetting from Sam Shin of the Storb lab. Gomez and Moran joined more than 250 Washington high-school sophomores at last week's seventh annual Hutch High science symposium. The program, funded by the Samuel and Althea Stroum Foundation, uses presentations and hands-on activities to give students a glimpse into the world of biomedical research at the Center. Volunteers from all divisions contribute to this educational outreach effort.
