More than 500 gathered for festivities, fund raising and the opportunity to hear the success story of former pediatric patient Alyson Looney. Looney and her parents were featured guests at the annual Pete Gross House luncheon, on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Qwest Field. This year's event and sports memorabilia auction raised $230,000 for Pete Gross House, a 70-unit apartment building that offers lodging, comfort and hope to cancer patients and their families. The building is named in honor of the legendary Seahawks play-by-play announcer Pete Gross.

The luncheon's presenting sponsor was the Christopher Harper Trust; sponsors included Greenbaum Home Furnishings and Costco Wholesale, exclusive radio partner Newsradio 710 KIRO, and travel partner American Airlines.
