Viruses are among our most unpredictable and deadly enemies, but their versatility may provide cures for countless human diseases. Learn more about viral threats and promises from Dr. Hilary Kemp at the next Science Friday, April 21, noon-1 p.m., in Pelton Auditorium. Kemp, a postdoctoral fellow in the Basic Sciences Division, will provide the latest news about a virus poised to become the "new ebola." She'll also discuss the Center's development of a virus that may hold the key to "fixing" broken human genes.
