NIH interdisciplinary training program applications due May 2

Funds are available for two fellowships (predoctoral and postdoctoral) to support trainees interested in interdisciplinary cancer research. Stipends will be awarded for one to three years with possible competitive reapplication for up to three years total. The fellowships start on or after June 1, 2006.

Qualifying trainees must be U.S. citizens/permanent residents and must identify two mentors at the Center or University of Washington who can supervise different components of the research project and who will contribute meaningfully to the research training.

Funding for this fellowship is through a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Training Grant. Predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows are eligible for a total of five or three years of NIH training support, respectively.

Completed applications and letters of recommendation are due by May 2 to M.C. Nachtigal (mail stop A2M-015 or mnachtig@fhcrc.org.
