'Twas a season to give generously

It is becoming an annual holiday sight around the Hutchinson Center: barrels filling to the brim with toys, food and now blankets. This year, drive coordinators from Information Technology, Facilities Engineering, Grants and Contracts, and Accounts Payable send thanks to many generous hearts on campus.

Information Technology staff reached their goal and donated 1,572 pounds of food to the Northwest Harvest food bank. Gary Gores, the poster guy for Facilities Engineering's toy drive, reports collecting 520 toys for the U.S. Marines' Toys for Tots. Grants and Contracts and Accounts Payable collected more than 65 blankets, along with toiletries and cleaning supplies, for the Belltown Women's Shelter.
