Science writer Lawrence Altman speaks July 18 in Pelton

The Center presents Dr. Lawrence Altman, medical reporter for The New York Times, July 18, from 2-3 p.m. in Pelton Auditorium. Altman's talk, "Who Goes First? The Story of Self-Experimentation in Medicine," is part of the 2006 Biomedical Research Integrity Series. The lecture — which is open to faculty and staff — is part of a series produced in collaboration with the University of Washington (Altman speaks at noon at the UW's Kane Hall, Room 120). Postdoctoral fellows and graduate students who attend earn credit towards the Center's research-ethics education program requirement. The lecture series runs through Aug. 24.
