Master chefs of the Premier Chefs Dinner advisory board took center stage to raise more than $308,000 at the annual dinner last month at the Grand Hyatt Seattle.

In celebration of the event's 15th anniversary, advisory board members and chefs Tom Black, Eric Lenard of the University of Washington, Russell Lowell of Russell Dean Lowell Premier Catering and Brian Scheehser of the Hunt Club at The Sorrento donated their time and resources to prepare a five-course culinary adventure. Courses were paired with Northwest wines selected and provided by The Tasting Room.

A culinary-focused live auction featured private winemaker dinners, tastings, tours and parties at some of Seattle's finest restaurants.

The evening's highlights included winning bids totaling $54,000 for three exclusive, rustic Elk Camp Feast dinner parties. In addition, guests generously donated more than $152,000 during the "Help the Hutch" portion of the auction.

Amgen, Turner Construction, Lease Crutcher Lewis, Silver Cloud Inns and General Motors sponsored the 15th anniversary Premier Chefs Dinner. All proceeds from the event benefit the general fund, sustaining vital programs including faculty recruitment, pilot-research projects, shared-research facilities and patient-family support.
