The Center's Seattle Cancer and Aging Program (SCAP) joins the University of Washington's Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging to present "Mouse Models of Cancer and Aging Workshop," Tuesday, June 27, 8:30 a.m.- 4:50 p.m., in Pelton Auditorium.
The workshop opens with a keynote address by Dr. Ronald Depinho, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University, entitled "Telomeres in Cancer and Aging." Presenters include Dr. Piper Treuting, University of Washington; Dr. Yuji Ikeno, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; Dr. Claudia Gravelamp, California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute; Dr. Jan Vijg, Buck Institute for Age Research; Dr. Arlan Richardson, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; Dr. Sandy Chang, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; Dr. Joanna Groden, the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health; and Andria Robinson, a student at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
