Fifty-seven employees from the Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance volunteered for a variety of community service projects during United Way's annual Day of Caring.

On Sept. 15, 57 Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance employees participated in United Way's annual Day of Caring. The five teams tackled volunteer projects such as gardening at Keystone Residential Facility; building a P-Patch for families affected by domestic violence; cleaning up Homer Harris Park; painting a deck and organizing the offices of Helping Link, a resource that provides social services to Vietnamese refugees and immigrants; and repairing fencing, building shelves and bagging clothes for the Urban League's assistance project to Katrina victims.
