'Science for Life' event

The "Science for Life" four-part series, which takes place every Thursday evening through Oct. 12, is designed to give the public up-close and informal exposure to the wonders of scientific research. Topics include genetics, stem-cell research and suspended animation. The program is currently filled, but there is a waiting list.
