Brief
A five-part lecture series on epidemiology begins Oct. 9. The introductory course will focus on questions about the causes of cancer and infectious disease and the ways in which epidemiologists think about and design studies to answer such questions. The course is a survey of epidemiology for graduate students who are considering applying for the joint molecular and cellular biology Ph.D./ epidemiology master's degree program. However, all scientists are welcome to attend. The first 15 who commit to attending all five lectures will receive a copy of "Medical Epidemiology" by Dr. Raymond Greenberg.
