Dr. Sarah Wootton, a postdoctoral fellow in the Human Biology Division's Miller Lab, will speak at a cancer biology and epigenomics research symposium Nov. 9-10 in Chicago.
The Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Children's Memorial Research Center/Northwestern University sponsor the conference, "Cracking the Code with the Bear." The speakers are postdocs nominated by their faculty mentors for their seminal contributions. The foundation will award a $40,000 grant to one speaker.
